Before heading to Saturday’s fully lit WaterFire, join the Rhode Island Historical Society for a walk along Providence’s rivers. Participants will meet at the John Brown House Museum and head toward the water, learning about its history and continued importance along the way. The tour will also point out the city’s architecture and outdoor art, in addition to the history of the WaterFire. After the tour is over, participants can claim a spot for sunset lighting, or check out some of the pre-event entertainment.
