Explore the outdoor art of Providence Friday with a morning walking tour presented by the Rhode Island Historical Society. Not only does Providence have one of the highest concentrations of visual artists in the country, many of its streets and parks are full of public sculpture. During a 90-minute walking tour through downtown Providence, participants will explore outdoor art displays and learn the stories behind the art and its artists. The tour will also offer information about the Providence Art Club, the Rhode Island School of Design and Gallery Night Providence.
