One hundred-twenty years after Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe, the Fall River Historical Society Museum will offer a special exhibit featuring rare items from Bordern’s life and her trial. “Echoes of Lizzie” includes items never before seen by the public, including the notebooks of Borden’s defense attorney and the private files of the district attorney and city marshal. Other items on display include Borden’s some of Borden’s personal possessions and correspondence.
