TechSavvy is a free weekly technology education program co-hosted by robinTime and Newport County Computers. Nearly every week (we won't have a session on the 4th of July!) a subject matter expert speaks about a specific technology topic. Past topics have ranged from Outlook Tips & Tricks, Social Networking without Giving Up Your Life, Free Fun Software for Children, and Internet Security.

This week, Jairo Rugel of Newport County Computers (co-host of the TechSavvy series) will be speaking about another facet of keeping your computers safe. Mac owners often feel that they're immune from the problems faced by Windows PC owners but they can be vulnerable, too. So, come learn about things you need to keep in mind to be sure that your computer is safe from different types of malware, and that your personal information is protected.

Upcoming topics include Things You Should Know When Shopping for a Smartphone, What You Should Consider When Taking a Credit Card with a Smartphone, and so much more.
