Advertising Ventures acquires i.d. Group
PROVIDENCE – Advertising Ventures, a full-service advertising, design, interactive and public relations agency, has acquired i.d. Group, Inc., to “support intrinsic growth and provide enhanced client services,” the company announced this week.
Andrea Reed, co-founder and president of i.d. Group Inc, will become director of marketing at Advertising Ventures, in charge of developing and implementing strategic marketing communications, doing budget and media planning, and enhancing client relations.
Paul Dozois, co-founder and vice president of i.d. Group Inc., will be Advertising Ventures’ director of design services, working on all aspects of graphic and visual design.
Since Steve Rosa, president and chief creative officer, founded Advertising Ventures in 1989, the agency has twice been named to INC. magazine’s list of fastest-growing U.S. companies. Clients include CVS/Pharmacy, Cox Communications, Shields Health Care Group and McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant. i.d. Group clients include Coventry Credit Union, Salve Regina University, and TruStone America.
“i.d Group was a perfect fit for our agency, and we welcome Andrea and Paul’s creative excellence and entrepreneurial spirit to our company,” Rosa said in a news release. “Together, we take pride in solving business problems, building brands and growing companies.”
The combined agency will employ 25 people.
