WARWICK – FarSounder Inc. today announced it has moved to a 4,200-square-foot facility at 43 Jefferson Blvd., at the In-Sight Office Building.
The new corporate headquarters, near both T.F. Green Airport and Narragansett Bay, are “ideal for the expanding operations of [FarSounder’s] global marine electronics business,” the company said.
President and CEO Cheryl M. Zimmerman said “Our new offices will enable expanded manufacturing and R&D capabilities … [and] allow us to expand our marketing and dealer training departments to serve our growing distribution network.”
FarSounder specializes in sonar technology for marine navigation, especially in shallow areas, and defense and security applications. The company is currently working on a project for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
