Warwick, R.I. – January 28, 2009 – Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading information technology and managed service provider, today announces the launch of its 2009 thinQ [think] Technical Training workshops. The 2009 series comes after the highly successful 2008 debut year. Held monthly, each half-day workshop will focus on new and upcoming technical trends and tools.

thinQ sessions will provide the practical, unbiased insight, knowhow and experience IT professionals need to stay on top of emerging technologies and utilize them to the maximum benefit of their organizations. Instructed by Atrion’s leading engineers, thinQ aims to help quell the confusion of a rapidly advancing IT industry and provide IT professionals with the pertinent technical information they need without taking time away from their everyday responsibilities.

“Hot off of last’s year’s success, Atrion is proud to be hosting another 12 thinQ sessions in 2009,” said Melissa Delprete, director of marketing for Atrion. “With growing technology needs, tightening budgets and hundreds of complex technical products arising every day, it has become nearly impossible for IT Managers and staff to stay current in all areas of the industry. This is why we designed thinQ; to fill the role of research, purchase and trial and error. Our team has explored and tested these technologies and then, through thinQ, we pass that information along to our clients to help them understand the myriad of information out there and to offer best practice advice and guidance.”

thinQ was born out of client demands for a reliable IT “guide” to advise on current and future technology trends, their potential role in fulfilling business needs and their return of investment ratios.
The first 2009 thinQ session will be held on February 26, with a focus on Unified Communications. Additional topics include: Web 2.0, Date Center, Network Troubleshooting, Windows Server 2008, Application Delivery, Security, Switching/Routing Developments, UC product brands, Modern Remote Access “Teleworker” and Extranet Collaboration Opportunities.

Sessions run on a subscription basis. Visit www.atrion.net for the full schedule or to register.
