Monarch Industries is pleased to announce the promotion of Bill Ford to the position of Vice President of Business Development. Reporting to Michael Friedman, President/CEO, this appointment signifies an important leadership role focused on the opportunity for the growth of Monarch’s Business in specific industry sectors.

In this role, Bill will primarily be responsible for developing new business accounts and implementing strategic sales plans to accomplish corporate goals in the foodservice, specialty retail, and institutional markets. Bill will conduct market analyses to determine customer demands, price schedules, and marketing strategies. In addition, Bill will represent Monarch at trade association meetings to promote Monarch products, deliver sales presentations to key clients, and provide corporate management with periodic reports on proposed client base expansion and market status.

Before joining Monarch in 2002, Bill spent his career working in many facets of the cabinet making industry with a focus on retail fixturing. He was most recently a Principal at Millrock and then Senior Vice President at NDI in Worcester. In both companies Bill’s focus was on developing national accounts, including Staples and Starbucks. At Monarch, Bill has developed relationships with premier national retailers and foodservice companies including Panera Bread, Qdoba, Ann Taylor, Polo Ralph Lauren, amongst other national and regional accounts.
