Chef Jonathan Cambra of The Boat House is 2012 Signature Chef

Executive Chef Jonathan Cambra, of Tiverton’s Boat House Waterfront Dining restaurant, has been named the March of Dimes 2012 Signature Chef. The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 6 pm to 10 pm at Belle Mer in Newport. It will combine the talents of the region’s leading chefs who prepare their signature dishes, and a silent and live auction. Twenty-six chefs will participate.

March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
