For single women, the confusion is over. The Women’s Advisory Network, is a newly formed local resource for single women who require financial, legal, tax, insurance and real estate services. Developed by local female advisors with expertise in planning for single clients, the network’s purpose is to provide guidance and professional services to single women and women in a life transition.
For women who have recently experienced a life transition such as divorce or loss of a spouse, knowing how to start rebuilding your life is often challenging and confusing. The advisors in the Women’s Advisory Network have the expertise and experience to help clients resolve the many issues resulting from a life transition. What is your financial situation and can you achieve your financial goals? Do your estate documents need to be revised? Are you dissolving a business interest? Do you need a new place to live? Can you qualify for a mortgage? Completing these and other necessary personal tasks can be overwhelming to a woman dealing with the emotional stress of a life transition. The Women’s Advisory Network was established to help the single female client maneuver through the many tasks necessary to rebuild plans for financial security and personal independence.
Susan Dewsnap, financial advisor with Wealth Management Resources, Inc in North Smithfield founded the network after recognizing a need through her work with local clients. Members of the network are currently coordinating panel discussions at local organizations. They are available to speak to groups on topics relevant to single women.
