[SMITHFIELD, RI] FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — The Old County Road Playground Project will be hosting a Trivia Night at the Smithfield Elks Lodge, 326 Farnum Pike, on Friday, January 20, 2012. Wise Guy Trivia will be emceeing an evening of “PG-rated” fun for adults.
Tickets are $15 each.

About The Old County Road Playground Project
Founded in 2011, a group of parents and teachers concerned with the state and safety of The Old County Road School playground formed a committee to raise funds to build a new playground. The initiative, presented as a community park would provide not only safe structures on which school children could play but a park, walking path, and gathering place for the residents of East Smithfield who currently do not have such an area. The committee has set a goal of raising the necessary funds by June 2013; one hundred weeks.
