PROVIDENCE, RI – On Thursday, October 11, Tufts Health Plan will convene Rhode Island employers, small and large, to discuss strategies to implement and evaluate employee wellness programs. The “Rhode to Wellness” event will include case studies of how other employers brought wellness into the workplace and feature keynote remarks from David Chenoweth, Ph.D., FAWHP, an international expert on worksite health promotion and evaluation.

Tufts Health Plan organized the forum to engage and educate employers in proven wellness strategies and to promote an understanding that wellness is a critical component of quality health care and improving the health of community members.

This event is free and open to business leaders and employers of all sizes. A complimentary healthy breakfast will be provided, and attendees will be entered to win copies of Dr. Chenoweth’s book, “Evaluating Worksite Health Promotion.” Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by October 4, 2012.
