RI author and nutritional consultant, Joy Feldman, will be reading from her book, “Is Your Hair Made Of Donuts?” on Saturday, September 29th at 10am at Whole Foods in Garden City, Cranston. Healthy food samplings will be available.
The free event is sponsored by Whole Foods Market, which also carries the book for sale in select stores.
Information will also be available on how to sign up schools, libraries, day care centers, after school programs, and other groups for the STATEWIDE READ DAY for National Nutrition Month on March 11th. Guest readers will be available. Corporate sponsorships would assist schools in purchasing books for children. Any company or group interested in doing so will be matched with a local school or organization of their choice.
