Bristol, RI January 26, 2009 – EVOLUTION Bodywork & Nutrition today announced they will be hosting YogaFit Level I Teacher Training Certification programs at its Bristol, RI based studios on February 21-22 (Sat & Sun), 2009.
This informative two-day workshop gives instructors the tools to create dynamic, user-friendly, fitness-oriented yoga classes. Level 1 is designed for beginners teaching yoga, practicing yoga, and learning yoga. For experienced Yoga instructors, this workshop is designed to offer new skills to teach Yoga classes in the mainstream health club or gym environment, focusing on the physical fitness benefits of traditional yoga poses. Although many attending have some yoga or fitness experience, the only prerequisite is the desire to learn and commitment to attend.
In order to receive the Level 1 Teacher Training Certificate of Completion, YogaFit requires the Level 1 Trainee to donate 8 hours of practice teaching in a community service setting, bringing the gift of yoga to individuals who would not normally be exposed to yoga on a regular basis.
