Salve Regina University’s Cultural and Historic Preservation program has been awarded a $39,000 grant from the National Park Service recently to conduct a site documentation project on a historic battlefield in South Carolina.
A “Backyard BBQ” was hosted by the Ronald McDonald House of Providence on July 8 with the aim of raising funds to supplement the cost of lodging families with sick children. More than $150,000 was raised.
