QVC, Kirks Folly team up to raise money for autism

Jenniefer Kirk, co-founder of Kirks Folly, a Providence-based designer and manufacturer of fantasy jewelry, home accessories and clothing, has embarked on a “Dreams Come True” effort that has raised $15,000 on eBay for the Autism Project of Rhode Island.

The fundraiser involved an opportunity to attend Kirks Folly’s annual factory sale, Nov. 2 to 4, with a package consisting of round-trip airfare, two nights at a bed and breakfast, a $500 gift certificate to the factory sale, a private dinner party and transportation.

In addition, during April – Autism Awareness Month – a unique puzzle pin inspired by the Autism Project’s motto, “Putting the Pieces Together,” will be sold on QVC, with a part of the proceeds going to the nonprofit.
