TACNAV systems allow military vehicles like this Humvee to navigate in poor visibility and to become part of a battlefield network.

MIDDLETOWN – KVH Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: KVHI) today announced it has received two orders, totaling about $1.7 million, for components and upgrades to its TACNAV vehicle navigation systems.

Both orders are scheduled for shipment – to a defense contractor, for use on U.S. military combat vehicles – in the second and third quarters of 2007.

“The upgrades and enhancements addressed by these TACNAV components will permit TACNAV systems in the field to support applications in a wide range of demanding military environments, including vehicle navigation and integration with digital battlefield management systems,” said Dan Conway, vice president of business development at KVH.

TACNAV systems are currently in use by the U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps, and by allied forces including those of Canada, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Switzerland and Italy.

KVH Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: KVHI) is a maker of live mobile media systems and of navigation and guidance systems for defense and civilian use. Additional information is available at www.kvh.com.
