Bank of America today announced the 10th season of its “Museums on Us” program, which will offer free admission next month to 86 cultural institutions in 11 states.
Throughout May, holders of Bank of American credit or check cards and MBNA credit cards will be able to visit these museums, science centers, historical societies, zoos and botanical gardens free of charge – and bring along a guest.
“Since we created the program 10 years ago, we have seen strong participation in Museums on Us among cultural institutions and customers in the Northeast,” said Anne M. Finucane, chief marketing officer, Bank of America. “Today, we are thrilled to announce that we will bring this nationally-recognized program to 25 institutions across the State of California.”
Program participants previously included 61 institutions in the Northeast, in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont.
Participating institutions in the Ocean State are the Providence Children’s Museum, the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket, the Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence and the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport.
Other participants in southeastern New England include the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Worcester Art Museum and the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.
