SEA CORP wins $47.9M NUWC contract

MIDDLETOWN – Systems Engineering Associates Corp. has just won a $47.9M contract to support Undersea Sensors and Sonar Systems programs at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport.

The company will be supporting efforts to incorporate updated technology into the Navy’s combat control and acoustic systems. SEA CORP will provide services including systems maintenance, engineering, test and evaluation and programmatic support.

“With growing undersea threats to our at-sea forces, keeping the technological edge in being able to detect those threats is exceptionally important,” Mike Jones, SEA CORP’s business area manager for sonar and sensor systems, said in announcing the contract.

Systems Engineering Associates Corp. (SEA CORP), a veteran-owned business founded in Newport in 1981, provides systems and engineering services to the Navy and other customers.
