This year’s Best Places to Work competition is the second put on by Providence Business News.

Using the Best Companies Group, in conjunction with its partner, Modern Think, we ascertain the policies and procedures that entrants have put in place, as well as how their employees judge the measures’ effectiveness. The core of the process is an anonymous survey administered to each entrant’s staff, the results of which the company can see and subsequently use to make further improvements. In fact, entrants tell us that the act of entering has given them insight that is invaluable.

So congratulations to all the companies listed here, no matter your place in the contest. Just making this list makes you one of Rhode Island’s Best Places to Work.
