Treasury official offers credit lessons at Chariho High
RICHMOND – David Nason, the U.S. Treasury Department’s assistant secretary for financial insitutions met with students at Chariho Regional High School this morning as part of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Education Foundation’s annual Get Smart About Credit Day.
Nason’s 9 a.m. visit was one of many today, to schools across the nation, by Treasury officials and bankers who offered lessons in financial literacy.

Students at the Wood River Junction school, and elsewhere, received lessons in the responsible use of credit and the importance of a positive credit history.
