Ted Schroeder has been appointed chairman of the board of directors for the Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association. He is general manager of the Newport Hotel and Marina. Schroeder currently serves as a board member of the New England Inns and Resorts Association and is a past president of the Newport Rotary Club. •
