WARWICK – Atrion Networking Corp. today announced it has acquired Providence-based Shazamm Global Interactive Agency, a multimedia marketing and communications firm. Financial details were not disclosed.

Shazamm is a provider of Internet, print and multimedia campaigns for clients including Hasbro Inc., Touchstone Pictures, Samsung, MGM, Time Inc., AOL, ESPN and the Pawtucket Red Sox. Its offerings include Web design and content management; the “Z-Media” Web-based asset management platform; and the “Z-One” service that allows users to remotely manage and monitor content on kiosks and digital signs.

The acquisition will enable Atrion to offer its 490 clients such “outward-facing” services, in addition to its “behind-the-scenes” expertise in unified communications, network security and managed services, the companies said.
