Budget pain looming for groups both big and small
With Rhode Island facing a projected deficit of hundreds of millions of dollars, a $28,500 cut in next year’s proposed state budget will do little to plug such a huge gap, but it sure will hurt operations at the Center for Women & Enterprise and would have a negative impact on the Rhode Island economy as well, according to CWE Executive Director Carol C.
