“A wireless network will allow our doctors and medical staff to provide more comprehensive, quality care for our patients without delay or disruption,” said Loretta Tharp, director of development and public relations for the centers.
Applicants were asked to answer three questions on need, benefits and community impact. The judging panel said that “Ms. Tharp clearly demonstrated a critical need for the modernization of health care activities.”
Melissa DelPrete, Atrion’s director of marketing, added that the company was “thrilled to be able to provide such a worthy organization with the latest in wireless technology. We know it will be a wonderful addition to the services they provide.”
