R.I. Bar Foundation elects 22 new fellows
PROVIDENCE – Twenty-two lawyers were elected as fellows of the Rhode Island Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the bar said today.
The foundation elects fellows annually. To qualify for consideration, a lawyer must be a member in good standing of the Rhode Island Bar, and must exhibit an outstanding devotion to the welfare of the community and the improvement of the administration of justice.
This year’s new fellows are:
• Stephen J. Angell of Johnston, whose practice is in Providence
• Armando E. Batastini of Providence, whose practice is in the city
• Haiganush R. Bedrosian, an associate justice of R.I. Family Court
• Richard P. D’Addario of Tiverton, whose practice is in Newport
• Karen L. Davidson of Cranston, whose practice is in Providence
• Mark B. Decof of Swansea, whose practice is in Providence
• Karen G. DelPonte of Cumberland, whose practice is Providence
• Robert M. Duffy of Hopkinton, whose practice is in Providence
• Diane Finkle of Lincoln, whose practice is in Providence
• John Gorham of North Scituate, whose practice is in Warwick
• Patrick T. Jones of Winchester, Mass., whose practice is in Boston
• Sandra A. Lanni of East Greenwich, whose practice is Warwick
• Stephen G. Linder of Providence, where his practice is located
• Thomas W. Lyons III of West Warwick, practices law in Providence
• Thomas J. McAndrew of the Harmony section of Glocester, whose practice is in Providence
• Michael W. Miller of Middletown, practices law in Newport
