The Stetson University College of Law graduate had been an associate at a Florida law firm. That experience helped the Florida native land a clerking position in Massachusetts and, in 2004, a job as an associate with Partridge Snow & Hahn (PS&H).
Initially her practice focused on creditors’ rights, foreclosure and bankruptcy before she settled into her current practice area of real estate and land use.
Her growing local prominence in the field won her recognition as an “Associate to Watch” in Rhode Island Real Estate this year and last by Chambers USA-America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
At PS&H she has been appointed sustainability officer and developed the GreenMatters program, which focuses in part on strategies for energy-and-materials reduction at the firm. She’s responsible for regular communication with all stakeholders on the business and environmental benefits of supporting sustainability at the firm.
Despite a busy law career, the 33-year-old mother of two has immersed herself in the community as a member of numerous boards and committees. They include serving on the board for the Pawtucket Foundation and as a corporate member of Pawtucket’s Memorial Hospital. •
