CresaPartners opens Providence office

Corporate real estate advisory firm CresaPartners has opened a branch in Providence.

The branch, which the company says will operate as an extension of its headquarters in Boston, is the company’s first office in the Ocean State.

“Office tenants in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts continue to be in the driver’s seat in negotiations with landlords, as vacancy in the region continues to rise and rents decline,” said Kenneth Dill, a CresaPartners principal who will head the operation. “Local companies are in a position to leverage market conditions and close very favorable deals, and they will find greater advantages when they partner with a firm that puts their interests first by avoiding conflicts of interest.”

CresaPartners bills itself as North America’s largest corporate real-estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation and corporate services, including project management. The firm provides services through more than 125 offices in 35 countries, including more than 50 in North America.
