Janna Ducich recently was named AT&T’s vice president and general manager for New England. She talks about her new position with Providence Business News. Ducich will oversee sales and operations of more than 1,300 employees, more than 200 AT&T-owned and authorized retailer locations across the six states, as well as national retail sales. She also will help guide the wireless network deployment strategy across the region. She previously was vice president and chief marketing officer of Cricket Wireless.

The Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday filed charges against the R.I. Economic Development Corp. and its bond underwriter Wells Fargo Securities, alleging fraud that stems from a 2010 municipal bond offering to finance the now-defunct video game company 38 Studios LLC.
